I don't have any flyers but you could direct your email list to our club home page or cut & paste the announcement that is posted there. Thanks for the help. It is important to ask all those attending to rsvp so we can have enough food.

I will be posting up a task specific list of volunteer opportunities within the next couple of days.

Thanks to all who have offered their time for the 10/6 Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day at Francis J. Beatty Park. I still need to fill the following slots: 2 people to transport, set up & man the Club membership tent; ride marshals for 2 beginner, 2 intermediate, & 1 advanced group; 2 people to help get kids bikes & helmets fitted. 

Please remember to RSVP by Oct. 1 to FrickePJ@aol.com if you are planning to attend as REI needs a head count for food. Looking forward to a great day on the trail.

So how'd the event go? Big turnout? I'm sure whoever came had fun. Mudman says no one needed medical attention except a scratch for Lunchbox.

Thanks to all who shared a beautiful fall day at FJB park. We had almost 75 riders on the trail at one time and you could hear the kids laughing and screaming all over the park. I especially want to thank the Trailblazers who led rides, manned (& picked up) the club tent, and to our Bike Patrol guys. REI put out a great meal of burgers, dogs, fruit, etc. there was homemade ice cream, and Earth Fare brought healty goodies for all. 

And last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank Trips for Kids Charlotte for creating an opportunity for our club to give back to the community in such a positive way. Already looking forward to next year.
