Anyone ever ride the Trails at Baxter Village in Fort Mill?    Any tips or tricks you can share would be appreciated.

I've ridden them a lot.

Best thing to do would be to go with the Tailwind Cycles group ride on Thursday nights ~6pm front the front door of their shop.

Here's a rough trail map for you:

A lot of side trails in there to confuse you.

If you can't wait for a group ride, then just go explore...

Does this have more climbing than RRT?

I used to ride; now I just drink and cry about not riding.

I've never been to RRT (soon!) so I can't comment on that one...

I can tell you I did a group ride w/the guys @ Tailwind about 2 years ago @ Baxter...it was a hot & humid day so I was blowin up which made the climbs seem that much tougher, but there are about 7 note-worthy climbs.  I'll go back for sure...

I live in Baxter now and have started riding a good bit in there.  Bring a weed whacker.  Some of them are quite overgrown.  Very up and down out there to in terms of elevation.

Riverwalk is another option just down the road.
