I know this is a mtb forum, but I was surprised to see no mention of the Crit race series going on locally here this week.  The series has gone to Mocksville, Concord, and was in Salisbury last night.  They're doing another Crit in Statesville tonight, a distance road race Saturday, and one last race Sunday also in Salisbury.  I know we have plenty of guys on here that also ride/race road bikes.  I went down and checked out last nights race.  It was fun to watch though there wasn't a real big spectator turn out.  Would be cool to see the community embrace this more. Wink

I built some tubeless road wheels for a couple of guys racing these crits. I got a text this morning stating they have been finishing 1st and 2nd Wednesday and Thursday on my wheels. Kinda Cool.

I had completely forgot about these races. Thanks for posting up.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking.

The Statesville course goes right by MOMBAT.  If you've never been there, it's worth the trip.
