benefit of certain components

I was just wondering what benefits of upgrading certain components like head set, crank arms, bars etc. I have a marlin and an older enduro im going to part out the enduro but was wondering if I should put the race face crank arms, bars etc on my marlin. is it just strength bc weight is not that different and im not talking reg vs hydo brakes or suspension parts. Thanks

I think it would depend on what's already on the Marlin.  If the parts on the Enduro make it lighter, stronger, better performing, or better looking, then why not change them over?  But, if they don't accomplish one of those 4 (unless you just want to play bike mechanic) then I don't see much of a reason to change.
