Labor Day wkend Cookout/ride - MS150 fundraiser (Read 1260 times)

	Sunday 9/1 - 4pm Will plan on around 1-2pm ride at BYT followed by a cookout at my house. Beer, brats, hot dogs, sides, etc to be provided... please let me know if you can make it so we can accurately plan food and beverages... we have a large yard so plenty of space... There are about four more weeks until my “Breakaway to the Beach” MS150 bike ride from Monroe, NC, down through Hartsville and Florence, South Carolina and ultimately back into North Carolina and onto the sands of Sunset Beach. This will be the second consecutive year I have participated in this ride to support my wife Leslie and the many people experiencing life with multiple sclerosis. We will be providing beer, burgers, brats and sides and ask that you come out to support Todd’s effort to raise awareness. A box will be set up for anonymous donations or donations can be made through the MS150 website directly. Our goal is to raise $500 – so feel free to come by with friends or family! Children welcome! 	Turnout is looking good...the more the merrier.. Social byt ride at 130 marion deihl center before... Cookout to follow... Weve got beer, burgers, brats,probably some cornhole boards...

	Thanks to those of you that showed up... had a great time... weather for the most part was really nice too.... and we were able to raise over $500 (also counting those of you that couldn't make it but still contributed...) If anyone would still like to contribute to a great cause ... please do! The ride is in two weeks and I know at least a few others on the forums will be joining me...
