This Sunday the small bridge at the bottom of the downhill on the Yorkmont side (softball loop) will be replaced.  The bridge is very close to the pump station off of Yorkmont Road.

This would be a great time to get some experience on bridge building and an understanding of the club's bridge guidelines.

PM me if you are coming out want to help so I can make sure that we have enough work for everyone.

If anything gets rescheduled for Monday, I might be able to lend a hand.

BikeHaus, are you still looking at rerouting the climb directly after that bridge?  And what is the status of the fruit loop; is it legit to ride or not?

I used to ride; now I just drink and cry about not riding.

Yes and ?.

The reroute of Wussi hill will be done on a workday this fall that has not been determined yet.

As for the Fruit Loop, it took a back seat to maintenance issues and other changes on the trail.  I've unofficially heard from Rocky that an individual over at the Farmer's Market did not want folks riding on that section.  Someone at one time had placed a log across the trail where you exited to get to the Fruit Loop.  I have no idea who that was.

If someone wants to take ownership of the Fruit Loop that would be great.  The other sections of the trail consume all of my time and attention.  I'm not sure who to contact about that section although Jack C. may be able to provide more information on the Fruit Loop.

The Fruit Loop is closed until further notice.  Jack has been talking with the new manager at the Farmer's Market and not sure where that conversation is at this time.

I'll see if I can get Jack to give me the 411.

Ah, now I understand.  I was thinking the bridge you were replacing was the bridge before the wussi hill climb, not the one by the Yorkmont pump station. It's kinda more of a boardwalk than a bridge.
