Parking at Beatty...

I just got an email from Park Watch and they've been noticing people parking on the shoulder of the entrance road. The car(s) have bike racks which lead them to believe it was folks out for a ride. I saw one tonight coming in. If you ride Beatty, or know anyone that rides Beatty, please make sure to park in the parking lot and not on the shoulder. Our relationship with Parks and Rec. is crucial to the club's, and mountain biking's, future in Charlotte. Dont wanna pi  . them off.... Thanks Folks  Smiley

Yeah, not cool.

I do suspect however that guilty parties don't post here and like to ride FJB in a full kit 2 hours after a rain.

Lots of parking across Weddington @ the church and soon at the low income apartment complex closer to McKee

They are parking outside the gate to make sure they don't get locked in if they are still riding after dark.  However, they shouldn't be riding at night unless it is an organized night ride.

I used to ride; now I just drink and cry about not riding.

They're parking there and right next to the first road crossing after the tennis courts. If they want to avoid getting locked in, they should park at the church up the road. Parks and Rec. has been pretty cool with us riding and I'd hate to see that relatioship ruined.
