Vee tires?

Anyone tried these bad boys?

Seems like a heck of a deal.

After doing exhaustive research for about 4 mins on the interweb it seems that Vee Rubber has been making tires for other folks for "30 years". They get decent reviews too. Im needing some 29x2.4s for my rigid SS beater/race/pretentious hipster/gravel-grinder bike and dont want to spend a fortune....

Anyone have any thoughts/opinions/warm feelings/angry rants about these tires?

Thanks ya'll.

I ran the 27.5x2.4 trail taker on my Norco Sight for a while. The compound was slightly plastic-y but I liked the honeycomb sidewall treatment. Sealed tubeless easily and was light for the size. Nothing exceptional but worth the $30 price of admission for sure. I switched to the 2.4 mountain king.

We have quite a few VEE 29er tires in stock, but not the specific size requested. Feel free to swing by if you want to feel their weight/compound etc...
