Not being able to ride makes you realize how big a part of your life it is. Can't wait to get the cast off (4 more weeks min) and cleared to ride by the doc (and wife/bossofme). I plan to hit the roadie pretty hard for a while.

I had a nasty shoulder injury this spring that kept me off the road bike completely for a few weeks, off it in full capacity for almost 3 months, and off the mountain bike for 3 months (the latter being strict doctor's orders).  First half of my summer I was pretty depressed and it was affecting me quite a bit.

Everybody should ride a bike...nuff said..&^&^ day, not really, hit a pole , cue to the wind and tha fact that I am 135lbs. Made it home bloody and got dressed for the ride in a minute. Hit all green lights, ALLLL...got to Kings' and snap,,Chain broke..now, no extra part's on hand, no way back but to coast donehill and kck like I was on a Sk8brd all the way through the Greenway and  a friend picked me up..One Love.. That is what riding a bike is about..&^&^ty days become all the reason for you to go out and ride the next day again..Just Sayin...

can you ride a stationary bike?  I find videos and a stationary bike a pretty good alternative.
