dropped the tire pressure, layered up, & turned the pedals over in the hood & on the greenway, enough to blow the cobwebs out of my lungs.  I forgot how hard it was to ride in the snow....

I hit 17 mph on the ole 2.4 ardents on a 4 mile "road" ride. I didn't realize my Yelli single speed is really a fatbike.

Christ! It's STILL snowing here in Mooresville!  I'm Screwed!  Only 4 IPA's in the fridge and the roads are still buried! A least I have all day to stock up.  Really wish I still owned nordic ski gear!

I still have my nordic skis, but I sold my waxing bench and waxing kit ,years ago. Thinking of snowshoeing around the neighborhood though. Freak the southerners out Cheesy

I rode my bike around the hood yesterday and didn't have any trouble at all. Drove the  Mazda SUV also and it plowed right thru the snow.
BTW, we're getting dumped on by heavy snow in Cornelius right now!

51 was getting clear starting late this morning near the 485 exit.  South Blvd looked like it was making some progress too, but still far from two full lanes.

The roads are complete slush, or nasty thick snow that was no fun to ride in.  I was absolutely drenched when I got back home from a 50 minute ride.

Didn't get a chance to check out the interstates unfortunately but I'd imagine they're at least a little better.
