Hello,

New to the forum here. Looking to see if anyone knew of any meetups for group road bike rides. Looking for the weekend to start. In the Fort Mill/Pineville/Ballantyne/S Charlotte area. Very new to road biking.

My wife was interested as well, but for mountain biking meetups same area.... 35 and over group if there is such a thing.

Thank you!

For mtb we do an all ages multii-group (one faster, one slower) wed evening ride at beatty, come on out and join us. Usually plenty in the post 35 cat (myself included). Its a night ride part of the year and an after work evening ride the other part of the year. New folks always welcome/appreciated. Look for the post in the section of the forum above. It is sometimes canceled due to weather.

I would be happy to road ride with you, but I'm not familiar(bike friendly areas) with that area. I live near WWC and have several routes around here that I consider bike friendly, 10 to 50 miles. Shoot me a PM if interested.

This is where you need to look if your looking for a road ride.  They have a facebook page also.

Don't let age dictate speed, a lot of times it has been my experience that most older guys are faster than the younger ones.
