Actually Steve does close RRT when conditions warrant it. The dang soil just drains so well!

Mark is right on that RRT does close. Winter time freeze thaw in particular. We have just been missing the heavier rainfall. It helps that there is plenty of sand in this soil in most areas. I try to keep an eye on the conditions. There have been times when I would of closed just for the morning but left it open cause the likely hood of more than a stray rider wasn't going to matter. Let's people make afternoon plans.

Poston Park (Lowell - Gaston County):

Take Exit 22 off of HWY85. Turn RIGHT off the HWY onto Main Street and drive thru downtown Lowell. After about 2.5 miles George Poston Park enterance is on the LEFT.
