Park Road Park needs some love

I went out to PRP and hacked the most over grown sections back open.  In one spot you couldn't see the trail tread any more.  The trail is good to go now, it just needs some traffic.  Not much has been done out there because 1) I haven't had the time or motivation 2) no one else has either and 3) we are waiting on the final plans for the greenway.  Once the greenway work begins we will have tons to do rerouting BYT and tying in PRP.

Thanks climber. For whatever reason, PRP is not seeing a lot of traffic these days. I was there back in May or June and was so covered in spiders I bailed out early. I also spent about half the time clearing fallen branches etc. Now that you've re-blazed, I may check it out this weekend!

I have wanted to ride PRP for awhile now and the only reason I haven't is I cant find much information on it.  Meck has a park map, but it doesn't show the trail and there is no information about it on this site.  I think a map and show promotion would do wonders for it.  My $.02

I mapped PRP for MTBproject.com.  Its a great trail mapping resource that has an awesome mobile app you can use while riding so you dont get lost at trails you haven't ridden before.  Check it out.
