Rim cracked?

Took my beach bike on vacation, I noticed a split or crack in the front rim when I loaded up to head home. It was my old MTB and the wheel is a Mavic 238. Honestly it looks like its normal maybe where it's put together, not irregular at all. Bike still rides true- no runout noticed. Anybody ever noticed that in a rim?

Are you just noticing the weld? It looks like a crack that goes all the way around. If it isn't pulling apart and you just see a small gap its probably fine..there's a sleeve in the rim that's holding it together...
