Unauthorized trail work @ Beatty

To the well-intentioned party that felt the need to add a wooden roll-down to an 8 inch kicker at Beatty (it will be removed): please discontinue any/all unauthorized trail work. If you would like to make improvements please feel free to join the trail crew on any of our scheduled workdays posted on this site or reach out to me if you would prefer to take on solo projects. For better or worse I am the trail boss out there and any modification to the trail needs to come through me first. 😉 We would welcome your help and I really hope that you will reach out.

I went back and looked at it after I talked to you.

I'm sure you don't share this sentiment but I found it rather cute ha ha. It's just so little and just somehow cute.  Smiley

And they even put an odd little piece of carpet on it. Or at least I think that's what it is. Not sure what that is supposed to do.

I rode last night and didnt recognize anything new.  How long have these un-authorized features been there?

It's really small....(and cute)....I rode right past it the first time and didn't even see it until it was pointed out to me.

Probably some young whipper snappers from the neighborhood behind the trail...when I was a kid I was building ramps in the woods behind my house all day long!!

I did a couple laps Tuesday and on my 2nd lap I noticed that someone had cut some saplings next to the trail over by the soccer fields at about 12" or so. This could be dangerous if someone was to wreck and fall on one. Not sure why someone would do this as Beatty is one of the few trails that does not have "slappers".
