So a 29+ would actually be about a 30 or 31 inch tire circumference.......

No but it has a real nice bead  design. By all rights should set up tubeless like a champ, aslo should almost be burp proof design.

It was going to be my choice for my next build but I ended up with a set of 40 mm Nexties.

Trek Store South has a few of the new Stache 29+ models in stock.  I'm afraid to test ride one because I'm pretty sure I'd agonize over wanting to buy one immediately after.

I would love to demo one also.  The whole 29+ is thing is just getting rolling. Some are using XC geometry and some are leaning towards more of a trail bike geo. I'm trying to wait patiently while they figure out the direction they are going.

I am having fun playing with some of the new tires. I just got some Panaracer Fat B Nimble tires. THey are 3.0's, but they are running small. They only weigh 770grams. I was able to fit one in my Fox fork with room to spare. I also was able to shoe-horn it in the rear of my hardtail. (Man that sounds weird)  Unfortunately it had Nanometers of clearance so it had to come off.

THese tires are paper thin on the sides. I would only recommend them for the local trails. But they seem to roll fast. I just mounted them on a 30mm wide Carbon rim. I'm guessing they will grow to at least a  2.7 after a few rides.

Have some pictures...

Finally got around to building myself a set of wheels to go on my Mukluk. It will be interesting to see how it feels versus the Stache we have at the shop.
