Who sells used bikes?

Hey all, I'm a noob, just started back on the bike last fall, and was sidelined until very recently with some back problems. Anyway, I have an older Mongoose sporting-goods store full suspension bike, and well, it's a pig. Nearly 40 lbs. I've come to the decision that my best course is to not try to upgrade parts because it's probably the steel frame that's the real weight problem. Thing is...I can't bring myself to drop nearly $2k on a nice quality new bike. 
Are there shops in Charlotte, or where is a good place to search for quality used bikes?

How tall are you? And what kind of budget do you have?  You don't need to spend $2K to get a decent bike...unless you're looking for a full suspension bike.  We don't have much used but can offer some suggestions and help guide you in the right direction.

I'm 5'7", 30in inseam. I'd like to stay full suspension, and was thinking best case around $1k-1200 for a used bike in good shape. Maybe I'm dreaming? LOL Just seems with all the people out there riding the latest and greatest, their old ones have to be out there somewhere.

Check out Ride-A-Bike in Lincolnton (soon to be Gastonia). Brantley does consignment sales and turns some nice rigs.

If you can swing it and a medium will do, you should jump all over that Titus X deal at Queen City bikes.

this bike is truly what it is. We are selling it on consignment for a customer who purchased it from us a few years back. This individual has quite a quiver of bikes and needed to liquidate some to appease his significant other. I dont even think this thing hit the trail b/c when he brought it too me it had a wheelset w/ slicks on it.
