Light Weight Mistake

So I got a shorter stem and moved my seat back half-inch.  I was still in the marked area just compensating for the shorter cockpit.  Then at Poston, SNAP; the weak aluminum gave way and I had to ride out like a San Franciscan robot was chasing me.  Hello Thomson, bye-bye broken Deda Ultra.  You were pretty but dangerous.

Not a good place for porous aluminum.

I just trashed my Ritchey Carbon seat rails.  The irony is I put put an cheap old bontrager saddle I pulled out the parts bin and have been riding much better since!
