North Meck, Caution! Trail work in progress 9.2.15

Heads up to all my fellow North Meck Riders.  We will have a couple of dirt projects under way starting this afternoon.  The walk behind bobcat that we used to move dirt for the pump track is leaving it's temporary home (the storage container in the parking lot) to go to another trail.  With that being said we are moving dirt on the trail itself for a few projects this afternoon before the machine heads out.

So don't run over the workers  Wink

And for inquiring minds, the dirt work will be "flow enhancement features"  Cool

"Flow enhancement features" you say? Guess I'll have to check it out when I'm back in town  Smiley

This caution warning will extend until next Wednesday (9.9.15).  If you see the storage container in the parking lot open then that means the Bobcat is out on the trail.

Thanks!

I was able to squeeze in a quick ride after work this evening... I like the few "flow enhancements" so far!

The pump track will be closed this evening for some drainage work.  Hopefully it will be rideable shortly after the work is completed tonight.

My wife's son came down from Virginia to visit his mom the other day, so I had to get a ride in. I rode NM, when that creek has no water in it, it's really dry! I don't think I've ever seen the creek dried up.

The creek has been dry for what it seems like a few months  Shocked  .  So yea, it's really bone dry out there.
