Just saw this in the paper. Tennis courts are coming this fall. 13 tennis courts a championship court, restrooms and another facility with meting space and space for locker rooms, tennis, track and field and field hokey. Looks like they are going to start this fall and plan to be open by fall 2017. Ride it while you can it will be cut right down the middle. Going to loose everything dead in the center where the rock roll down is all the way over into the valley trail and then some. If they didn't move the old layout. Not really sure if it can be saved? They are building something right now just don't know what it is. Looks like it will happen along with the greenway. Oh well we knew it was coming one day. On a sad note it will take out one of the oldest switchbacks in Charlotte for MTB. Like I said please hit it while you can. Thanks to those of you who have helped on that side you know who you are. Around 25/26 years I think and it used to have twice the distance. RIP
