I'll have to check out Cheraw trails, have been to the park a few times but never to ride.  Also can put together a decent gravel ride in and around Sandhills Wildlife refuge which is a little closer.

Fisher is open.  I'd recommend staying off the new option section at the beginning, though.  If anyone rides today let me know how it is or if there are any blow downs.

Have fun cause it's probably gonna be closed again after tomorrow's rain. Tongue

If you really need to ride, going nuts like i was, do what i did today. I rode the all weather trail at the WWC!  I was actually suprised the decent workout it gave me. Especially with being damp had to work harder!  Good job to the crew at wwc for  providing  us a non road riding option when all other trails  are closed.

Cool

I think the trail that goes around the WWC parkway is "all weather".  The wife and I rode it last week... not a bad trail if you get the itch.  Couple of laps including the hard-pack around the water...  probably get a little more than 3 miles per circuit.
Perhaps Lee and team can weigh in... I did see them working on it Monday evening...  but my understanding is that will remain open even when the trails are closed.

What I said... ^

Most trails should open tomorrow based on the 24r rule.  If not hit up WWC's all weather trail.

I went and rode a greenway this morning and rode around some neighborhoods through some grass etc. and it was solid mud everywhere.  It is going to be a while before anything dries out.

From what I've heard so far, North Meck will not be open today, but most likely tomorrow.  A little birdie also told me that there will be a group doing trail work from 9am-12pm at North Meck on Sunday, working to "Winterize" the trail and hopefully help the trail handle the wet cold winter better.

Check the trail work forum for more details on the work day.

It looks like a great weekend of riding is in store!

A little clarification about that.  The sign actually says

I think most people miss that  "FOR AT LEAST" part quite often.  That being said, in the summer time this is obviously amended as drying times are much quicker.  But conversely, winter drying times are much longer.  Use your best judgement ( Roll Eyes) and be kind to the trails. Smiley

I went to Renni after work to do some maintenance.  I had hoped that it would be good enough to open it up, but there is still standing water here and there.  Hopefully one more day of sunshine will be enough.
