This is great!

I started the coaching requirements online but then decided that I will wait until my children are in high school and hopefully riding bikes. So in 10 years or so I will revisit this and be apart of something great. Wish I had the time to get in at the start.

I started checking it out, too -  but more to be a ride leader or volunteer.  That said, it looks like they're also pushing for middle school teams in NC, so you may closer to it than you thought.  My oldest will enter 6th grade next year - I wonder if there will be any interest at her new school.

There will be middle school teams as long as folks like yourself help make it happen. Team formation is a grassroots effort and the League will be there to help support you on that effort.

I'd be happy to answer any questions, I'm the League Director.
