State owned property

I know this topic has been beat to death in the past, but has anyone ever worked with the state on building trails on state owned property? Was pouring over maps and identified a piece of property which might work for a large pump track jump lone. This is not the same property as the one on the north side of uptown under I277 which went nowhere.

word is they are trying to find a way to get the greenway through there but access is a big challenge.  I would assume it would be much easier to get a pump track as an add on if they can figure out the greenway connection

The property i located is not near any of the greenways. Just curious if there is a contact and an existing relationship to discuss.

There are plans for an improved jump line and a large pump track at BYT.  We've never dealt with the state outside of NCDENR and the State Parks Dept.  If you PM the tract information I can look into it.
