Over the last Year Uwharrie has been holding meetings to evaluate current trails and plan for the future.  The 4 main groups ( Bike,equestrian, motorized,and hiking ) have been meeting to discuses these very issues.  

The next step is to present the materials developed by the working groups to all trail users and identify the preferred trail system.  In order to reach as many users as possible, a public meeting will be held on December 10th at the Garner Center located at 210 Burnett Street, Troy, NC, from 6:00pm-to 8:00pm

I encourage you to attend this meeting as they plan to provide information on the preferred trail system and outline the path forward.
