Rode there today for the first time in a while. Sucks to see the trail getting bulldozed. I don't understand how they spend all that money on a velodrome, bmx and pump track but then bulldoze the mountain bike trail. The way they promote it as an outdoorsy type community you would think they would invest just as much for awesome trails.

I e-mailed Saussy Burbank the other day expressing my concern for lost trail & was advised that per the Assured Group Developer rep the "construction is temporary & the trail system will be reconnected.  There are also plans underway to expand the trail system to offset areas that will be displaced by future development."  So it looks like we can expect additional trail loss at some point but at least it's still in the master plan to replace it.

Okay well that's good news. I was told originally that we can expect up to 12 miles worth of trails, but I think that'd be a bit of a stretch.
