Bike rack question

I have a jeep wrangler with a standard mud tire spare. I'm looking for a hitch rack to haul my bike with.  It needs to be fairly long coming out of the hitch in order to clear the spare. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Here's what I have ran Zoom zoom.  It was not cheap, but it works very well and keeps the bikes solid in place.  They have single, double, and triple options as well.  It sticks out far enough to clear a spare tire too.  I can check for you when I get home.

They are adjustable to how far the rack sticks out.  Very solid racks

+1.  They are awesome racks but I will do a call and some measurements to make sure it will come out far enough to miss your tire.  I use a Yakima holdup on my jeep with the tire on the back but it is the standard size.  Not sure how much extra room I have.

I need to measure how far it will need to be out to clear the tire.   Wink

also you can get by without the extention with the one up but your pedal will have to sit perfectly inside an opening of the jk rim. I forgot to make sure it wasn't touching a few times and my spd scratched my rim. with the extension there is no issues

I witnessed this beauty a while back at LKN- Straight off of a jeep  and looks custom made just for those reasons.

Watch for sharp edges. Probably could be re created by a metal shop but with labor and materials - might cost the same as a shelf unit!

I bought a 1up single carrier October 2014 when I bought a new car and switched from a Thule roof rack setup to a hitch receiver setup.  I do like it, and it is easy to take off and install.  Though, I leave it on my race car year-round.

One of the two racheting lock mechanisms did stop working for me eventually, and this proved to be an over-tightened nut.  While troubleshooting the mechanism prior to calling for help, I lost the spring.  1upUSA sent a replacement spring at no cost and also provided instructions for the issue.  So, I have also been please with the support and customer service they've provided.

Another great thing about this rack is that it isn't bulky at all especially when folded up.  Well, I have only carrier, so it is less bulking than a setup with 2-4 carriers.
