I just saw a post on Charlotte Agenda saying the athletic fields at Renni have been permanently closed. Does anyone know if the trails are gone too?

I'm here right now. The entrance and parking lot are open. The trails are open and there are some folks playing disc golf. However, the actual baseball diamond complex appears closed. The gates to get to them are locked. There are no signs up indicating why.

They are planning a stream restoration project on that side of the trail in the near future.  The club has been in talks with P&R about for several years.  They will let us know as the proceed with the project. Smiley
