Park Rd Park trails

Hello if you ever ride the green trail at Park Rd Park area my house is on that tail on the other side of the creek.
I have been trying to get any more information on the work being done on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway between the park and Tyvola Rd or even between the park and Huntingtowne Farms.
It looks like some work has been getting done there, and while walking that area the other day I saw a sign for the website when I came out of the woods near the park, so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone had any insight to when they might actually connect that trail thru to Tyvola.
Right now it looks like it just stops at the water treatment plant, and would need a bridge added to get the trail past that area.
I found this site that lists it as a current project, and says it will wind thru the park, even though the map shows the trail going on the other side of the treatment plant apposite the park.
TRIED T POST A URL, BUT SITE WONT LET ME YET!

I also saw some good information here about the Cross Charlotte Trail that will tie Park Rd Shopping center area and Montford over to Tyvola, when all this is done, I would really consider getting a bike and riding the Greenway over to that area if I did not have to worry about riding on the mains roads and could use the greenway 100%
TRIED TO POST URL, BUT SITE WONT LET ME YET!

If anyone has more info or knows of a good forum with more Greenway information that would be great.
Thanks.

I have a thread on here dedicated to the construction within PRP.  Based on your location description, you cant be but a few houses away from me.  It's all happening at a snails pace as you can tell, i dont think we can expect the current sections to be near completion until late 2017.

Sorry I am just now seeing this, I thought the forum might email me when I get a reply, but it did not seem to work for me at all, I have the registration emails, but not that I had a reply to this topic at all.

Anyway yes I am on Archdale and my back yard is right where that trail ends and turns basically. I have a 5 year old daughter and am hoping they will connect this trail over to the new trail that is supposed to be getting built to go all the way to Park Rd shopping center, I would hope I would not even have to touch a roadway while riding, that would make me feel better about it really.
I assume they are going to have to add a bridge where the trail now ends at the water treatment plant, then when it gets to Tyvola I am hoping it would somehow pass under the road somehow wherever the water go under there now I guess.
I will try to find your thread.
Thanks

All good!  The trail behind our houses will eventually connect directly to the greenway.  i don't know the precise layout of the greenway at the Little Sugar Creek @ Park Road crossings (just south of Selwyn), or up at the piece of land directly across from the field house at Marion Diehl so will remain to be seen on that if road crossings are involved at all.  there will be a bridge connecting that side to  PRP though, i actually saw the skeleton for the pilings out there last week, its gonna be a mammoth bridge for a greenway.  I'll post updates as i see them on the ground on this thread:

haha good deal, we'll definitely be adding some better signage at some point but for now as the construction progresses i'm just kind of leaving it as is.  im looking to the do the next leaf blowing the second weekend of Dec so keep an eye for that as the trail is always a blast when clean!
