I saw this guy at Sherman one day.

He was going counterclockwise.  Smiley

I am fairly certain this is the guy you saw at Sher man riding counter clockwise

That dude is a MAD MAN!!!!!  He passed me in the air doing a no handed, backside, fakie flip out at N. Meck. one day and when I sat there and dropped mud in my shorts, all he said was, "RAMFB, brah!!!!!!"

I have reason to believe that the squirrels are mocking me.

Fish Stix can be a real B... well I would finish the sentence but that breaks rule # 5 apparently.

Anyone happen to know what the record is for "Most pages on a single thread" here? Just asking for a friend  Wink

-Sam

On a side note, I wonder if the OP ever reads this thread and feels guilt for what has become of his butthurt.

This is nowhere close.

That award would go to the fermented carbohydrate thread.

Why should he feel guilty. He was talking about his kids. Sure, it's his problem. Apparently, he made a simple mistake. He confused green trail with greenway.
But surely we're not that thin skinned to keep piling on this guy and his family.

Huh, I thought the thread with the most replies would be something about flat vs clipless, or what type of bike is best, or even what one should lube their chain with(I've found a lube that works wonders, but I'm going to keep it a secret).

I guess the OP had a very reasonable question stated in an interesting manner.

On another side note, any idea of how many pages that fermented carbs thread ended up having? I'm still surprised that it would be such a hot topic.

Thanks,
-Sam

42 pages and still growing. It's the longest one I can remember. Started on Oct. 16, 2009.

Every now and then it gets resurrected.

The "post ur roadie thread" is currently longer than this.  This is a mountain bike fourm.  Come on guys, get with the program.

I am sure there is a leaf blowing thread around that has everything beat by a long shot.  By the way Fishermans Farms get blown regularly

I do but it's no longer in the archives.  It was purged to make more data space for the forums.

It was the Leaf Blowing Thread.  If memory serves me right it was over 135 pages long.  Yup.  We bit**ed and complained about blowing vs. not blowing the leaves for 135 glorious pages.  And I even started it!! Shocked

Gawd, I hope that never happens again. Tongue

135 pages on whether blowing trails clean is worth it. Can't say i'm not impressed. Especially when considering that a blown clean trail is always more enjoyable than a messy un-blown trail.
