Was able to get a photo of one of the wild dogs while it was calm. It could easily lunge at someone from that attack position and knock them off the bike.

What are we going to do with fishnet farm...

Just wait when the greenway is finished there will be dogs off leash riding bikes with training wheels.

First the trail has the wrong color and now it is overrun by dogs?

The place and this thread has gone to the dogs.

I hear East Main at WWC is the new Blue that should be Black.  Fish Stix Green trail should be Triple Black

The green loop must have gotten real bad lately. I didn't think it was bad myself. The youth races use to be run on the green loop, can't be that bad!

It hasn't Mike.  In fact we spent several work days cleaning up a lot of the root mass on the green loop late fall/early winter for the upcoming NICA race in May and it's running better than it has in years.

Someone was feeling "triggered" and wanted to throw an IT (interwebz tantrum).   Smiley

I kinda figured something like that was going on. I'm sure the green loop would feel like a greenway if those riders would come to Snowshoe and ride some of our xc trails. Talk about rocks and roots!! It's  raining up here right now, but it is supposed to snow this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

I know I am way late to this party- but I have been riding Fischer for about 4 years.
Thanks to the work of the Cycle Path and the volunteers (which I hope to help this summer) the trails are in great shape and a good ride- challenging for some, sure.  But that is the name of the game.
I don't like Arby's- so I don't eat there.  Seems applicable.

Oh- and here is my 10 year old on the black diamond section.

What kind of dad lets a 10 year old play on dangerous trails like Fish Stix?  Smiley AND have you really ever eaten at Arbys???

Ooof that looks awful.

I have eaten there once.  And it was one time more than I would like.

My ten year old (now 11- that was last fall) won't do the drop offs in there, but will hit everything else.

No offense to the OP, but if a trail is too hard or not right for my family- we just don't go there.  I would not take my wife to BYT.  She would not enjoy it.  I do.
Different strokes.

If Arby's serves that sandwich for real then that's gotta be a $17.32 sandwich
