	done. how is the singletrack coming along up 273 way (experimental forest?) ? When I lived in that area we would use the the rail line like a greenway along the river. I haven’t been out there in 20yrs so never heard if it had been utilized as an official trail like Thread Trail link or connector to the little park on that side of 27.

	Im new to Gaston Co, but lived in Charlotte for 12 years. Not sure what the experimental forest is. The Mutt was working on flagging some singletrack by the dam from what he told me, but I haven't had to time to learn much more or know exactly where that is at.

	Mountain Island Educational State Forest Is what I was looking for. I overlooked the “experimental” auto suggest on phone. It’s the dam area.
