Walked and cleaned up all of Allison tonight some help from my SO.  Pulled away or cut ~20 trees that were either blocking the trail, or in the process of coming down.  Removed most of the big sticks in the trail, and created some better drainage in a couple of low spots.

Outside of a lot of leaves on the trail, Allison is in pretty good shape.  Not sure I'd ride it tomorrow, but Sunday would probably be good.

Didn't look at any of the other trails.  Went in around 5:30 and walked out right after sunset.

Thanks for doing that!  I'll check the drainage spots you mentioned as there weren't any appreciable drainage issues out there.  Some spots out there take 48 hours to clear up but always do. Smiley

All but Old Blue and Thunder Road have been checked and cleared and I'll hit those tomorrow afternoon.

You can reach out to me at 704-900-4730 when/if you go out there to do trail work.  That way I know what's been done as I don't always check these forums every week.

Thanks!

Mark

No problem.  I don't think drainage was necessarily a problem - just some standing water in the 'creek bed' bottom of one of the very steep hills into immediate steep ascent.  A 1-2" puddle had formed, and the remedy was as simple as dragging a stick through the mud to give the water a path to exit.  Felt like a kid playing in the dirt, but it goes a long way to helping a spot dry out  Wink

I'll keep that number handy in the future.  Thanks!
