With the help of Davidson College, the Trailblazers are working on a new website design, and we need your photos. So we're having a photo contest! We want your photos of riding our trails and participating in Tarheel Trailblazer activities, and you can win cool prizes courtesy of Sierra Nevada, The Cycle Path, LLC, and Bobbi Kimsey (MidwifeOnABike).

Here's how it works: there are two categories for entry, each with its own prizes.

1. WORK: pictures in this category capture a workday or other Tarheel Trailblazer event (club meeting, etc). We want to showcase the appeal of these events for both seasoned riders and those that may be new to riding or unfamiliar with our organization.
2. RIDE: pictures in this category capture riding on Tarheel Trailblazer trail. All ride pictures are welcome. We'd love to see pictures of the ride experience for all age groups and experience levels.

Email your entry (or entries!) to [email protected] by May 22. We will randomly draw one submission from each category to receive a prize for participation. Then our esteemed panel of judges will select the top 10* photos in each category and post them to Facebook for our followers to vote. The photo in each category with the most likes will win the grand prize. Prizes will be given away at our June meeting.
*we reserve the right to select more than 10 finalists if the submissions are too awesome to choose.

Grand Prize for each category: Industry Nine A35 stem, Sierra Nevada swag bag, Troy Lee Designs ODI grips, original pottery from MidwifeOnABike
Second Prize for each category: Sierra Nevada swag bag, original pottery from MidwifeOnABike
Participation Prize for each category: Troy Lee Designs hat and water bottle, original pottery from MidwifeOnABike

RULES: Photos must be minimum 1080p on the shortest edge. Please include your name and the category for which you are submitting. Submissions must be emailed by May 22. By entering the contest, you acknowledge that your submission is your original work. Entrants retain full ownership and copyrights to their submission, and by entering you allow Tarheel Trailblazers limited license to display the submission on tarheeltrailblazers.com and through social media. You do not need to be present to win.
