Rocky Branch Park 50K Ultra Race

This Saturday (Aug. 3) Rocky Branch Park will be hosting the Rivermen Brewery 50K Ultra running race.  Although the park will not be closed to MTB, it is suggested that MTB riders avoid the park this Saturday.  If you still want to ride RBP, please be extra careful of runners and do remove or disturb the race's flags and markers.

Yes they did close, but the race is still being ran.  I had heard that they were going to be open for the race, but I would check with the promoter Dirty Wolf Ultras.

Please remember there will be a 50 K Ultra race this Saturday at Rocky Branch Park.  The race promoter will be out Friday setting up their course and will clean up the course after the race.  Please be respectful of their trail markings and ribbons.  Thank you.

Kudos to Dirty Wolf Ultras for leaving RBP in better shape then they found it.  You would have never known that there was a 50K race at the park (except for the full parking lot during the race).

Also kudos to the MTB riders who respected the racers and rode some where else that day.
