Anyone know if the parking lot at the bottom of Kitsuma is closed.  I know facilities and camp sites in Pisgha are closed but not sure if they are closing the gates at parking lots like Meck Co has done.

idk about the gates there, but even if they are, it's not a bad pedal over from the mountain museum in Old Fort and they dont have gates at the parking area there.

I have reason to believe that the squirrels are mocking me.

Rode there last weekend.  The Old Fort Picnic Area was open.  We parked there and pedaled the greenway up to the Kitsuma.

Yes its open but really crowded. I rode past it after fishing in that area and the lower and upper lots were packed.

Health/safety folks are pretty stressed and resources are more limited up here in WNC. Just don't be this guy...
