Need a little help choosing first real bike

I've been on a 2013 Trek Rumblefish Elite since May - have put over 500 miles on her since then. Really enjoying the sport. The other day I took a Santa Cruz Hightower C for a ride and my mind was...blown.

I'm 5'10" (6'1" on Tinder), 190lbs. I do almost all of my riding whitewater. I am more into climbing and longer rides (25-35 miles at this point) much more-so than I'm into anything downhill. The most technical stuff I see myself riding is an East Main or Toilet Bowl. Mostly Bandit, CTT, Rail...stuff like that.

My budget is max $3500. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Look at the Fezzari Delano Peak. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) They will customize the bike to your size and you get a lot of bike for the buck. I have  Fezzari and I love it! Having it fit correctly right out of the box was the biggest selling point for me. I'm 6'5" and there are no demo bikes my size in Charlotte.
