Looking to rent a bike travel bag

I'm headed out to Colorado in September and would love to find a way to bring my bike. Does anyone have a bike bag they are willing to rent out that could fit and XL SC Hightower? I am more than willing to negotiate collateral and payment for renting the bag.

(Yes I do know you can rent bikes but I'd really like to bring mine Grin)

You could rent from here:

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Looks like you reserve dates, they ship you the bag, you use it, then ship it back when you're done.

I did look at that and I'm not keen on spending $200 for that. At that point I might as well just buy one.

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) shows $15/day or $100/week, that's not too bad I don't think. I guess it depends on how long you're going to need it for?

I've got one that may work. It is a soft sided I picked up at the Recyclery.

You can borrow it for however long you need it if it works.

Last time I went to utah I got a large bike box from a shop and brought it as a checked bag. If you fly delta (or I think american) and double check the dimensions it can count as a regular checked bag without extra fees. Bike box worked fine if you pack it well.

As this was discussed a few months ago. I was looking into the same about the same time.

With that  I purchased an EVOC XL bag... Traveled recently via Air
Want to offer my bag ( plus i can get access to 2 more if needed)

Would like 100$ per week (7 Days) + or - 10$ per additional or less days needed.

I would ask for a Digital security deposit , refunded upon return. ~300$

Would delver in the CLT area. help get it out there.

I also have + will include a  GPS/WIFI Tracki you can use the app to see with relative accuracy location of the bag.

Can offer my advise that I experienced flying with Delta ( yes they allow bikes, but flying under the 50# weight limit is impossible . Had to pay oversize each way. )   Overall went very smooth
