Airline BP Question

Is there a reason the status changes to red every evening regardless of precipitation and then to green in the am if the park is open? Does it have to do with if the gate is open or locked? Asking because I have several days off from work and want to hit it this morning early but not sure if it will open or not at this time(7am).
Not complaining just asking. Love riding there. Sent some $ for the raffle too.
Thanks!

Yea, the status literally corresponds to weather the gate is open or not at that exact time as one of the guys physically opens and closes it every day.

I'll let Tom or Brian chime in (the guys who do the gate every day) as I'm not sure what their general open times are on the weekdays.

Thanks for the support of the raffle fundraiser!

I know there's work being done on a new jump line.  Any plans to expand the cross country trails?

Yes, we have a 1 mile extension to the xc trails flagged but it will wait until we finish the green jump trail, airline jump trail refresh, and the drop in deck build.

See all of the projects we have in the works on the trails page if you scroll down:  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

We connected with all folks working on the big construction  project nearby to make sure they don't drive a bulldozer down the middle of the trails?
