Hey Steve - rode yesterday... haven't been there in a while, really dig the new stuff (Viaduct and the mega drop before it).

There was a decent size tree down on Ole Chunky, not sure if you already got word of that.  Everything was in good shape except there was a bit of a bog in the dip right after the log pile, right after the viaduct.

Thanks again for building an awesome trail.  Keep up the good work.

No didn't have word on the downed tree get it tomorrow evening and I'll look into that boggy area. Thanks for the information.

Please everyone post if there is a trouble spot tree etc. I see it as helpful information.

Steve,
Although I rarely make it out your way due to the long drive I have to say that when I do, I enjoy the beating your humble trail dishes out. Ahhh those climbs...
Thank YOU for such a unique experience,
K

Got the tree cleared this evening. I will put a short ladder type bridge in the bottom of that dip hopefully tomorrow.

Trail was frozen this evening looked like it would of made some good riding. Trail is open to ride if you can stand this cold. If it ever gets to thaw probably be greasy during the transition.

Going to brave the temps & give it a go tomorrow.  My theory is... you're always working so hard on that trail you don't really have time to get cold.  Wink

The trail is amazing to ride when frozen.  I rode the 'sometimes wet' sections and they were all completely frozen.

Great trail, thanks Watcher.

All good tonight no issues.  Had a great night ride tonight.  Sides of the trail were frozen but center was not.   Made it a little slick but still rideable. Hardy had any mud on the bike when I was done.  That all came from the drainage crossings they had about 2 inches of mud in them.   Temp was perfect for a night ride it was a balmy 30 DEG when I got finished.
