Cutting off my leg...

For Sale... Cry

2013 Santa Cruz Nomad

I bought the bike new Thanksgiving before last. It has been my constant companion on many a lap at Beatty, Pisgah Sunday Fundays, and even rode it to the store a few times. Im selling it because my riding style has evolved to more endurance XC and 6" travel bike just aint that great on 30+ mile rides.

I hate to sell her but I've bought a house in Asheville and my future wife and I need to fix it up...Adult decision were made and we need a nice house worse than I need a bike sitting around that I wont ride but on random weekends.

So here goes...

Frame: Large, matte Black.
Fork: Fox Float evo 160mm CTD(new 2014 damper installed)
Shock: Float CTD
Wheelset: DT Swiss EX 500 rims with Hope Pro Evo II hubs. setup tubeless (Front 15mm, Rear 12x142)
Bars: Specialized 720mm
Stem: Truvativ AKA 60mm
Brakes: XT M785 brakes
Cranks: SLX with RaceFace narrow-wide 32t
Seatpost: Thomson elite setback
Cassette: Almost new XT(maybe 50 miles on it), New XT chain with similar miles
Rear Der: XT medium cage with Shadow+ clutch thing

This bike is without a doubt the best descending bike I've ever experienced. It is the unquestioned KING of "All Mountain" machines... and is a hoot to ride.

"Nomad dont care...Nomad rides itself"

PM if interested.

Heres an old picture before all the upgrades...

Don't let Banjo fool you, he's got bike fever and will be buying a new FS before you know it.  My ESP tells me it'll be a 29er FS with slack geometry...maybe something like a Tallboy LT  Wink

I would be down for a work day at your new house if we can help save the bike.  I can work really hard for cheap 12 pack of beer.
Don't sell it if you can't get what its worth.
