Have any of you ridden the Twelve Mile Creek Trail (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links). Was curious how it compared..

I have ridden this and it is a nice easy trail, though there are a couple somewhat steep sections that may be difficult for a beginner that hasn't had much time in the saddle. Also it is a natural surface trail which is nice for getting used to riding something other than asphalt.

Also there is another section of the 12 mile creek greenway on the North Carolina side in Waxhaw. Eventually it will be connected to the trail that you have mentioned above. This is probably the closest paved greenway trail that there is to you in Wesley Chapel, however it is pretty short. It has a nice parking area along Waxhaw-Marvin Road. There is a half mile loop on the same side of the road as the parking lot and there is also a short section of trail that parallels 12 mile creek on the edge of the Prescott neighborhood on the other side of Waxhaw-Marvin Road.
