I'm waiting for the Superfly I ordered to come in and decided to rent a Fatboy to ride for the weekend.

That thing is AWESOME!!! I can't believe how much traction you get and those tires just dgaf about roots and rocks in the way.  Seriously contemplating canceling th order and just getting a Fatboy, that's how much I enjoyed it.

I think I'm gonna take it to the USNWC tomorrow.

Weren't you looking at the Stache?  Why not switch to that?

WWC has them for rent.  I don't know how many... but I did see one.

The got a Mongoose Dolomite at Academy for $199. 

I think it's a 7 speed. Every time I walk into Academy in Rock Hill and by the bike rack I eyeball it. ))

I have over 50 bikes, many of them expensive Mountain Bikes. I bought the Mongoose Beast first and rode it this winter on the beach and through the snow with some gearing mods.. Liked it so much that I thought I would try the Dolomite instead of a more expensive Fat Bike. I have been very, very happy with my decision. Even though it is heavy, this bike is a real sleeper, and with a few upgrades is a respectable trail bike no matter what the surface!"
