Dry as everyone has said.

The spot directly below dickey's rock feature is in need of some repair/rebuild. This is due to the numerous blowouts that have occurred since the newer line was created. Going to take some major work to put it right.

Needs a huge catch berm with some support on the backside of it so it doesn't wash out. I am happy to help since I ride there a ton but will not have time till Fall/Winter.

Good luck with any dirt work. Sherman is so dry I need a broom instead of a rake and shovel.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

I'm planning on something pretty big there. It will have to wait until there is some moisture present as will any project moving dirt. Likely will do a small temporary fix to protect losing soil there when rain finally comes.

That's great news Steve!  I love that little rock drop in the new section but I always pay for it on the turn.

Thanks for all your hard work, Steve!  I only get out there a couple times a year but always enjoy. Smiley

BTW what is this fascination with berms?  Totally confuses me.  Huh

Trees grow them.  Trees don't grow berms. Wink  Unless they fall over...

I don't think they are needed everywhere but this feature needs something to stop you from going off the side of the hill. I actually avoid the rock drop because the line out of it is so terrible right now and doesn't lend itself to carrying any speed.

Well thanks to the rain last week we were able to address the above mentioned area. It's not what I envisioned but looks pretty good. I will wait and see some traffic on it to see what I may want to add/adjust. It was so hot and humid yesterday didn't take much to send me home.

Thanks for the kind words Mark back when I was still riding I didn't make it up to Fisher but a handful of times a year. Always appreciated the work done up there.

Just a heads up they were cutting trees by the power lines this am so keep an eye out for branches and limbs across the trail in those sections

BTW the little bit of rain made for some good dirt, get out there before the rain sets back in
