Is it just Wildlife or does it include all or part of Laural also? I'm easily confused.

The section starts near the old Laurel entrance (at bottom of parking lot near bathrooms) but please note that this is no longer the official entrance; the official entrance is at the entrance of the parking lot / State Park Rd.

The section ends right BEFORE you cross Wildlife Rd; so don't get hit by a car because of Strava.

It is the long version so go straight at the 4.5 / 9 miles sign and watch out for that first big turn =D

Hope that clears it up  Cool

Thanks, I should have looked at the map before I typed. So it's just Laural correct? Entire loop or just to wildlife road? Heck I'm not sure I can even make it up this weekend, but I'd like to.

Thanks, that dialed it in! I have not ridden up there yet this year so I don't have any segments going in this years direction yet.

I have a request.

Can you keep the USNWC "Enduro" open for a while? That was a neat concept. It rained a couple days that week, and I was gone the rest of it. Not to make excuses, but I was bummed a little.

What I'm really thinking is, also have a monthly enduro? Plus the weekly XC segment? For example, RRT downhills. Like USNWC, it requires an entire lap, but also doesn't mean you have to be on the gas the entire time. Plus, the big boys like me will appreciate a comp where we can be potentially competitive (despite "winning" week 4, somehow).

If it's something like "just set one up", then I suppose I could. But, this is getting established - so it would be neat to add it if possible. I'm even willing to help manage it if you want. I have plenty of screen time.

I like this Idea. I wanted to get out to WWC but never have time in the week. Hopefully work will slow down a little soon and I can get in on more of these Grin

I agree it's a neat concept but as one of the 2 that actually did it all last week I didn't even intend on doing it (and my time reflects that, had to catch my breath after goat extension lol)... I ended up riding all trails Sunday (which wasn't necessarily required but N&S is...), but I didn't plan on it and it was actually kinda ironic b/c I skipped going to mountains b/c I didn't feel like riding a ton ( Sunday being such a beautiful day *hugs tree* I didn't want to stop)

I guess what I'm saying is we didn't get a lot of participation and I think it's because the length of the commitment (not a ton of people go out and ride all of wwc like they do say sherman, poston, rrt, north meck, fisher, etc).

Maybe take Lake Drop out of it next week so only South has to be ridden?

Just my food for thought.....

Yup. Which is why I suggest a "monthly enduro", to go WITH the weekly XC. Plus, it'll give more folks the opportunity to make sure they hit all the segments.

I'm on board with a monthly open enduro.  LKN state park could have a sweet one too!

I think that would be the best answer as long as it doesn't have to take place in one ride.

I just tend to ride wherever I go in it's entirety, I don't like doing laps so if its a 10 mile lap or a 22 mile lap I'm just going to do one of them lol. I can't force myself to ride the same thing over and over it gets boring. I kinda liked the idea of having to do the big loop at wwc for the enduro I just can't get down there during the week. Heck RRT is only 10 min from me and I haven't even had time for that this week Angry Plus if we do an enduro it give me an excuse to get the little wheels and dropper post out so that's always a good day.
