Ok , last week we got out and did some work on Southwest, basically we made a new line to the end of the trail to keep the wheels rolling foward. It starts as you come in to the last little DH line heading towards the exit, instead of stopping and going back left you can just continue the flow without stopping. We made a line that keeps you moving foward. No more stopping and turning left to start another lap, you can just keep going. Please ride this so it can be broke in . We will be doing more work out there as the weeks come and yes Winter is here . Also one more thing , I added a new little line at Renni after the bermy section into the woods on the Tyvola side,. I used what was available to make a pre existing line continues . I cut out some dead roots and wanted to add bolders so that you could ride over them or scrub them so when I was looking for rocks I noticed one was right there the whole time to the right and it was perfect. I walked it and looked at the lander and it is perfect so I did not need to find any more rocks . Anyway trail work is done and more to come..RAMFB ....

Thanks for your work. I've never ridden SWDP but it sounds like I need to change that as soon as the bike is up and running again.

@Slayem: Great work... the new route is a big improvement. What we need there now is some signage to help riders understand the option there.

Speaking of signage, I'll be posting a "kiosk raising" before the end of the year. I talked with the folks at the rec center to get them on board and we are good to go. Will be a simple thing, and Mark will be hearing from me about getting some signs made for posting at the kiosk and on the trail.

ALSO: The Tamale extension is coming along and the final double-gully crossing will be done soon... it's gonna be an interesting addition.

LASTLY: The whole trail was blown of leaves today, and it needed it badly. The trail was hard to locate in a few spots! If anyone wants to check it out this week, even after the rains, please do and enjoy the cleared trail. Smiley

Looking forward to taking the SS out there!  Let me know if/when you are working up signage and such to send to Mark as I may get it in on that for PRP as well.

Mark can order them. I was planning to do an "inventory" of the signage I need and let him know.

Thanks for the SW work Rocky. I've been wanting to make that "extension" to avoid the exit since we built the trail. May ride it later today....
