IMBA renewal - Membership now resides solely with

Hey,

Has anything changed with the Tarheel Trailblazers membership?  My IMBA renewal has arrived, and the wording below is confusing.  This left me wondering if the club is management memberships now outside of SORBA and IMBA.

Your membership expires in one month.  Membership now resides solely with IMBA Local associations, meaning more money than ever goes toward your close-to-home trails.

Take care,
-Clay

IMBA moved away from their chapter program a couple years ago, I think about the time they lost Subaru. We are solely a chapter of SORBA now, although we still use IMBA for certain services, like membership software.

So, does the club's use of the software mean that the link below as provided through the "Join" button on the page linked further down is still the correct path to follow?

Also, given that the following page still exists, and, beyond this, there appears to still be a relationship between the club and IMBA once I am logged in and looking at their renewal page, is my renewal and associated dollars to still benefit the club?

Yes to both. Membership dollars have always been a 60/40 split (we keep 40%, the remainder pays for insurance and services we get through SORBA or IMBA). That may sound not great, but insurance is very expensive, and the success of our membership drives over the past couple of years, now over 650 members, is going to allow us to roll out some cool programs in the coming months, in addition to the tool purchases, and machine purchase/maintenance.

Here's a breakdown of benefits we still get through IMBA.
