Warning poison ivy at Sherman just as you cross the wooden bridge before the little grunt climb on main loop.  It’s growing up the tree on the right and hanging at least 1/4 way onto the bridge  I’m going to take some cutters next time I ride but if you can get it before then please do.  I have zombie arm from where I smacked it a week ago but at least now I know where I got it from

Could you be a little more specific where this is located? I can get it just by looking at it and I am planning on riding there after work. I'll bring some clippers and try not to get any on me Angry

well - I was trying to be Smiley - its the wooden bridge over the deeper culvert leading into the hardest hill on main, (the last bridge before you hit the bamboo one miles later) at the top of the hill you are parallel with the initial downhill burms on your right.   The ivy is growing up a tree at the end of the bridge on the right - clearly hanging over the trail (and slapping arms as you ride by..)

I'll be out there today as well - so whoever gets there first will get rid of this evil pest - who knows how many people got whacked by this thing! certainly has done a number on my arm..

I was just out there the other day..

Didn't see a hard hill and nothing slapped my arm.

Sounds like the old landscape timber bridge heading back towards the parking lot.  Having said that it IS a Nature Preserve and all so remember it's just a vine in the woods for crying out loud.

I got out there yesterday and took care of it - cut a few face slappers all along the trail as well
