Registration Details:

Register Here.

All proceeds from the event go straight back into supporting the Backyard Trails!

  • Party Pace Registration is $20. After April 30th the price goes to $27.50.
  • Race Registration is $35. There will be some awesome prizes for podium finishers!

There will be NO registration on the day of the event. The event also has a participant cap so make sure you sign up early.

Whether you’re racing, spectating, heckling, or just showing up to soak in the scene – this one’s gonna be good.  We’ll also be raffling off some sweet prizes, so bring cash if you want in on the action!

There are two ways to participate:

1. Party Pace – Claim your spot in the woods. Whether you’re heckling, cheering, or just soaking it all in, this is where the energy comes from. No rush, no pressure – just the best excuse to hang out between the trees all day. Party Pacers should expect to ride between 15 and 20 miles for the day.

2. Race – Rip four loops through the best trails in Charlotte. Four chances to lay it down. Cross the line, grab a card, and stack your score. Only the top 13 from each loop gets a card. Highest total wins. No timing chips, no tape – just speed, grit, and the chance to walk away with a trophy and some solid prizes, and the title of King or Queen of BYT. Racers should expect to ride between 22 and 27 miles for the day.

  • Event Date: May 17, 2025
  • Meetup Spot: The Spoke Easy – 1530 Elizabeth Ave #100, Charlotte, NC 28204
  • Check-in opens: 8:30 AM
  • Group roll-out: 9:30 AM sharp

Other Important Stuff You’ll Need to Know:

  • Arrive early – We need everyone signed in before the wheels roll at 9:30. Check in starts at 8:30.
  • Bike check is a must – Make sure you and your bike are in good shape well before we roll out. The train waits for no one.
  • This is a Mountain Bike event: Although we’ll be riding over to Backyard Trails from The Spoke Easy, there will be time on the trails.
  • Fuel up – You’ll be out there for a while. Bring hydration, snacks, and whatever keeps you sharp during a several hour adventure.
  • Ride smart – Helmets are required, and we’ll be moving as a group to and from BYT – so stay alert, ride respectfully, follow the laws, and look out for your fellow riders.
