The Mountain Bike Trails are CLOSED.
Due to the effects of Hurricane Helene, Lake Norman State Park is closed.
The park will remain closed until park staff are able to assess the damage and determine it is safe to reopen.

The main draw for mountain bikers to Lake Norman State Park is the Itusi trail system. This system has 30 miles of fast, flowy, and rolling crosses so make sure you’re going in the right direction before setting off! Happy Riding!!
