National Trails Day Saturday June 7th – Ballantyne District Park

You know those Trail Gnomes who magically clear drains and trim back the overgrowth?

Yeah… they’re tired. And they need your help.

This National Trails Day, Saturday, June 7, we’re heading to Ballantyne District Park for a morning of much-needed trail TLC.

Whether you’re a seasoned digger or just trail-curious, this is the perfect chance to get involved.

🕘 9am–12pm
📍 Meet in the lot by the soccer fields
🧤 Wear pants, long sleeves, gloves, and bring eye/ear protection
✂️ Bring loppers or pole hedge clippers if you have them

We’ll be:
• Clearing drains
• Cutting back overgrowth
• Getting Ballantyne back in riding shape

Never been to a trail work day before? No problem. The Trail Gnome accepts all willing humans…no magic required. Just show up ready to help and maybe have a few laughs.
